DOLMEN YAPI is an engineering and architecture company using Building Information Modelling (BIM) system during all design phases ( conceptual design, design development and contruction documentation) and construction process.
Our goal is to reach high qualified and optimised engineering and architectural design solutions to contribute social, enviromental and economical sustainability.
We work in a virtual practice environment to raise inter-discipliner communication and to provide a collaborative work process by the opportunities of BIM system.
Graduated from Izmir Institute of Technology. He worked in several positions such as an architect and manager in several international projects within several international firms such as ARUP and DIA Holding, in Istanbul and Azerbaijan. He has improved his know-how on 3d modelling, BIM ve BIM management. After two years of career in BIM based project management, he founded DOLMEN YAPI in 2015.
Graduated from Kocaeli University as valedictorian. She took Master of Science degree on Earthquake Eng. in Istanbul Technical Unv. and Executive MBA in Bogazici Unv. She worked in several positions such as an engineer and leader in several international projects in Venezuela, Dubai ve Istanbul. She has improved her know-how on Structural system analysis, BIM ve analysis - BIM automation. After two years of career in Structural BIM coordination, she founded DOLMEN YAPI.
DOLMEN YAPI produces all the projects in Building Information Modelling (BIM) platform with international experienced inhouse teams using all opportunities of technology.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is computer based three dimensional model of all the components of construction which icludes size, production, cost, planing, varanty etc. information about all these elements. By this way, you can complete construction in a virtual environment, so all possible problems can be solved before construction started and all steakholders of the project can access and monitor relevant information.
With the help of BIM system,
We analyze, monitor and control the performance of our projects under natural factors like sun and wind. So, we use all opportunities of technology for enviromental and economical sustainablity.
With the help of BIM system,
We get together all the steakholders (architect, engineers, employer, investor, construction teams, vendors...) in one interactive model, so we produce an environment which serves everybody to access relevant information.

We construct our projects in a vitural environment. We saw all the coordination, planning etc. based possible problems before real construction starts, so we minimize the lost of money and time.

Our founder Seher Ergül delivered a speech entitled "Solutions of Structural Systems in BIM environment" in Autodesk's BIM seminar entitled "Coordination Time with BIM Now" held at Yapi Endüstri Merkezi to convey details and applications of Autodesk's Building Information Modeling (BIM) system.
Ergül emphasized that BIM requires intellectual and structural changes in companies, in this sense, she underlined importance of analyzing the objectives well and structuring the company according to these objectives. She pointed out that the BIM life cycle began with education and that it has a vital prospect for sustainability. By mentioning the importance of integration and automation, Ergül, pointed out the necessity of automation in order to reduce the error rate and to save time. She underlined that to minimize the mistakes in planning, design, construction and contracting processes are very easy with BIM and the risks related to uncertainties can be cleared off by this way.

Duru emphasized that BIM is an entire system and so BIM management should be addressed in a holistic approach. He underlined that the most important issue in this point is the preparation of a detailed execution plan and pointed out the importance of stadards, procedures and protocols. Duru gave detailed information on theoretical and practical ways to be followed while preparing the execution plan and emphasized the necessity of intellectual and structural changes in companies for a successful and systematic BIM process.

The new 130.000 m2 mixed project of Folkart Construction, "TIME", will be rised with the BIM system, which is the last point of technology in the construction sector, under the consultancy of Dolmen Yapı.
